Frequently Asked Question
I have allergies. Can you guarantee I won’t react?
Miniature Schnauzers are considered a low-shedding breed and are often a good fit for families with mild to moderate allergies. However, no breeder can guarantee that a person will not react. Allergies can be triggered by more than coat alone, including saliva and dander.
If allergies are a concern, we recommend spending time around the breed beforehand to gauge your individual sensitivity.
Do you sell breeding rights?
Breeding rights are available to approved homes for an additional fee of $500. All puppies are placed as companion pets unless breeding rights are discussed and agreed upon in writing prior to placement.
Responsible breeding requires careful planning, appropriate health testing, and a long-term commitment to the breed. We reserve breeding rights for select programs that align with our standards and values.
If you are interested in purchasing breeding rights, please contact us to discuss details.
Do you offer stud services?
Yes. Charlie is available to approved females for stud service.
Stud service is offered to healthy, well-temamented Miniature Schnauzer females who meet our program standards. We require proof of current vaccinations and appropriate health testing prior to breeding.
Stud fee: $1000
Additional terms and breeding agreements will be discussed individually.
We are committed to responsible breeding practices and reserve the right to decline any pairing that does not align with our standards.
Please contact us to discuss availability and details.
How do I reserve a puppy?
Visit our Available Puppies page to see current litters. If you would like additional photos or information, we are happy to provide them.
Once you have selected your puppy, a deposit secures your reservation. After reserving, we provide updates and photos as your puppy grows and prepare you for bringing them home
Is the deposit refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable.
If you have placed a deposit on a specific puppy and circumstances change, your deposit may be transferable to another available puppy or future litter at our discretion.
All deposits are applied toward the final purchase price.
Would you suggest adopting a male or female puppy?
In our experience, temperament differences between males and females are minimal once spayed or neutered.
Personality is influenced more by genetics, socialization, and individual temperament than gender. We are happy to help guide you toward the best fit for your home.
Do Miniature Schnauzers shed?
Miniature Schnauzers are considered a low-shedding breed. While no mammal is completely non-shedding, their coat does not typically “blow” like heavy-shedding breeds.
Regular grooming is required to maintain coat health and minimize loose hair.
Can I visit my puppy?
Yes. We are proud to offer both in-person and virtual visits by appointment. We enjoy meeting our families and allowing you to see your puppy’s development firsthand.
For families who have already reserved a puppy, we typically recommend visiting closer to the six-week mark when personalities begin to shine.
Do you have an application or approval process?
We believe placement is important for both the puppy and the family. We are available before and after your puppy goes home to provide guidance on training, care, and adjustment.
We rely on families to thoughtfully consider the commitment of bringing a puppy home. Should circumstances change in the future, we will always accept one of our puppies back to ensure their continued well-being. Refunds are not issued unless there has been a breach of contract on our part.
What is the typical temperament of a Miniature Schnauzer?
Miniature Schnauzers are intelligent, loyal, and alert companions. They are known for their affectionate nature, adaptability, and strong bond with their families.
Early socialization and consistent structure help shape a well-balanced adult dog.
